Young Harvester Awards

We just wanted to share how wonderful this family was to come and help us get in our olive harvest. We harvested for 3 days total, and the children and their mother helped for two whole days! Their mother said it had always been her dream to participate in a Tuscan olive harvest, and she and the boys really enjoyed it. They are from Switzerland and were visiting friends and family who were staying in Sorano. They also visited the local Sorano olive mill with us to continue the educational experience. On the first two harvest days we had 893 kilos from 34 mature trees.
